DCSD riding on the theme of "Integrating the Import of Lean Management Techniques - Improve the Performance of Public Services in Taipei" has been awarded the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO)'s "Global Human Resource Development Award 2019" with a Certificate of Merit in the Best HRD Practice category. A medal was respectfully presented to the Mayor during the 2047th Municipal Administrative Meeting of the Taipei City Council, on July 9th, 2019.
In order to improve administrative efficiency and optimize the quality of service to its citizens, the Department of Health, Taipei City Government, the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission and this Department have established a task force to promote lean management, introduce modern management techniques through cross-industry strategy cooperation, draw on the successful promotion and experience of pole learning, custom-design education training, individual case consultation, counseling and multi-methods. We will continue to drive innovation in the city through quality training services to boost growth and enthusiasm for the city's public services. The training results have been recognized and been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the IFTDO Global Human Resource Development Award 2019 in the Best HRD Practice category. In the future, we will continue to strive in bringing innovation to the city by providing quality training services to promote the growth and enthusiasm of our colleagues in the city government business and public service.
